Mappedin hires vice president of partnerships

Waterloo, Ont.-based indoor mapping vendor Mappedin has announced the hiring of Zoltan Szabadi as the company’s vice president of partnerships. According to a release, Szabadi will be responsible for enabling more partners to work with the company’s product lines.

“(He) brings a wealth of knowledge around building best-in-class partnership programs within the tech space. His experience with partnerships and strategic alliances at Amazon, Google, and, most recently, Mapbox, will help shape our strategic alliances and the partner program that Mappedin will be launching in early 2023,” the release said.

The firm’s mapping software is used in a number of locations ranging from shopping malls, offices, and airports to healthcare facilities and theme parks.

Szabadi said the company’s goal with partners is to “expand the many use-cases for indoor mapping and the variety of qualified service providers building these experiences.”
