The Assmann Group, a division of Assman Electronic GmbH headquartered in Lüdenscheid, Germany, has joined the HDBaseT Alliance.
The alliance, founded in 2010, today counts over 200 manufacturers, software developers, and service providers as members. With its 5-play technology, according to a release, “the HDBaseT standard enables the simultaneous transmission of audio, video, Ethernet, power, control, and USB signals via a single cable. HDBaseT thus offers an easy-to-use transmission solution based on the plug-and-play principle implemented with standard network cables.”
A manufacturer of server, network, and peripheral infrastructure products, The Assmann Group’s product lines are sold worldwide via IT distributors, system integrators, electrical wholesalers, the e-commerce channel, and corporate resellers.
