David Gewirtz gives his reasons for waiting.
“So, I need a new phone. And I’ve decided to wait for the iPhone 5. You might think I could easily get rid of the iPhone 3G pain now by buying one of the many Android devices, but I’m not going to. You might also think that since I really dislike the iPhone, I might be a perfect candidate for the Android.”

The VAR Guy previews Dell’s message to HP partners.
“I think we’ve proven in the past three or four years that Dell can be a stable business partner for the channel. The PC business is strategic to Dell, the channel and for my business [Davis’s partner organization]. We intend to be in the PC market, and we intend to grow it.”
Kelly Fiveash reports on the social networking giant’s acquisition strategy.
“In recent months, Facebook has bought a number of small-fry startups such as Netherlands-based outfit Sofa, which had previously developed Apple Mac software and design projects. It also recently acquired ebook firm Push Pop Press and Snaptu, which develops smartphone-like mobile applications for users of low-end handsets.”
