A quick look at D&H’s 2019 Technology Conference: Vancouver

D&H Distribution hosted its third annual Technology Conference: Vancouver at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Nov. 14. The one-day conference featured education presentations from several manufacturers, including Cisco, Lenovo, and Poly. The exhibit floor featured more than 25 D&H manufacturer partners, including StarTech.com, Targus, and TRENDnet. According to D&H, there were two “Solution Zones” that highlighted the trending areas of PC gaming and digital signage. Photos submitted by D&H.

In addition to the Vancouver event, D&H has conducted manufacturer-based “Road Show” educational sessions in Calgary, London, and Quebec City.

Andrew Walker of AMD discussed his company’s commercial devices offered through HPI and Lenovo at the event. AMD was one of more than 25 manufacturers to convene with D&H partners in the western territories at D&H Canada’s British Columbia event. Other manufacturers in attendance included Poly, Cisco, Samsung, Micron, NETGEAR, Startech.com, LG, and more.
Vice-president of sales Roy Rivers, director of marketing and business development Randy Churchill, and director of vendor management Chris Ralston spoke to solution providers from the Vancouver area at D&H Canada’s “Technology Conference: Vancouver.” DH says the event is part of an ongoing effort to bring the distributors intelligence, broad product knowledge, and value proposition to partners in underserved regions.
