Avaya released a statement on Andri’s departure:

“Walter Andri has left Avaya to pursue other professional interests,” the spokesperson told CDN in an email exchange. “Jocelyn Larochelle is acting as interim Sales Leader for Canada while the new managing director arrives.”

Andri’s departure comes just over a year since he was first hired at the unified communications (UC) company. Prior to that he was the senior vice president of sales for Primus Telecommunications Canada Inc. for a year and had a longer stint at Telus in different vice president roles.

In the past year Avaya has reshuffled a large portion of its executives, including in the Canadian channel, the Canadian and CALA region, Americas International and in marketing.
