Avnet launches an HP Converged Cloud packaged for Canada

Avnet Technology Solutionsannounced the availability of a packaged, fixed price implementations for deploying fully monitored, private clouds with HP CloudSystem or HP Cloud Service Automation products for the U.S. and Canada.

Called E-Paks, these cloud solutions were developed by Pepperweed Consulting, which was recently acquired by Avnet.

HP CloudSystem and Cloud Service Automation (CSA) are key components of the HP Converged Cloud portfolio, providing solution providers with an opportunity to build private clouds of all types. HP CSA consists of the software components that allow the development of Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) private clouds that are fully monitored and utilize heterogeneous hardware. HP CSA is also a core component of the HP CloudSystem based on HP blade-based server, storage and network hardware. With HP CloudSystem, resellers can offer end users turnkey, fully-monitored IaaS, PaaS and SaaS private clouds while leveraging their customers’ existing hardware investment, according to Avnet.

With Cloud E-Paks, Avnet’s network of partners can address the needs of CIOs and their teams by providing them with the peace of mind that their private cloud deployments are done by HP certified experts within a fixed time and cost.

The Pepperweed E-Pak includes components such as scripts, prebuilt integrations, HP CSA/CloudSystem best practice templates, a detailed knowledge base, project templates, best practice application notes, CSA/CloudSystem tutorial videos, and proven delivery methodologies developed and honed based on 15 years and 3,000 implementations of HP software.
