IT distributor Avnet is introducing a new tool to help solution provider and supplier partners more easily renew service contracts.
Dubbed Avnet uRenew, the new portal provides a consolidated view into the status of their existing hardware and software service contracts. The goal is to provide partners with a view of contract renewal opportunities “across the multiple technology manufacturers they support,” Avnet said in a statement.
“Services are typically the most profitable component within any solution, and even the slightest increase in services sales can have a dramatic impact on our partners’ businesses,” said Larry Fulop, vice president and general manager of supplier services in the Americas at Avnet in the statement. “Avnet uRenew helps partners align their services renewal strategies to the way their customers are purchasing technology today, empowering them to increase sales with less effort.”
In addition to cross platform visibility, uRenew also offers analytics in renewal tracking, opportunity management with forecasting, sales transformation with insight into upsell and cross sell opportunities, and a collaborative portal with visibility across the partner’s entire channel ecosystem.
