BlueRange Technology acquires IBM assets of Mainline Canada

Virtualization solution provider BlueRange Technology, a subsidiary of Xchange Technology Group, announced June 27 that it has acquired specific assets of Mainline Information Systems Canada, a server, storage, software, application solutions and services provider.

BlueRange has acquired Mainline’s portfolio of IBM clients and contracts with the exception of its IBM System z or mainframe related assets, the company said in a statement. The acquisition is allowing BlueRange to offer more comprehensive enterprise storage and server solutions to its customer base, the statement said.

BlueRange ranked No. 66 on CDN‘s Top 100 Solution Providers list for 2010, up from No. 82 the previous year. Company representatives declined to comment further on the acquisition.
