Canadian Computer Charity Golf Classic hits year 33

The Canadian channel community will once again gather this summer at the Canadian Computer Charity Golf Classic in aid of Easter Seals and the Princess Margaret Hospital.

The annual event will be held on September 7 at the Country Club in North Toronto. The Canadian Computer Charity Golf Classic has been going strong for 33 years and will be hosted by Cisco Canada for the fourth year in a row. The Canadian Computer Charity Golf Classic is a premier golf tournament that brings the computer industry together to help raise funds for two worthy causes, Easter Seals Ontario and Princess Margaret Hospital.

A special occasion is being planned at this year’s event to honour the retiring Rick Reid, president of Tech Data Canada. Reid has been a long time supporter of the Canadian Computer Charity Golf Classic.

Approximately 300 golfers will be on hand representing more than 100 leading Canadian IT corporations at the event. Corporate partners continue to play a key role in the success of the Canadian Computer Charity Golf Classic demonstrating their commitment in supporting children and youth with physical disabilities and cancer research.

The Canadian Computer Charity Golf Classic not only supports two great causes but also offers participants a unique marketing and networking opportunity. Participants will enjoy a round of golf at one of Canada’s most celebrated courses, ClubLink’s The Country Club located in Woodbridge, Ont. The course has been designed and groomed to excite every level of golfer. The Country Club also offers its guests one of Ontario’s finest golfing experiences on two championship courses.
