CES Video: Microsoft and Cisco are targeting your home

Both Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Cisco Systems (NASDAQ: CSCO) outlined their evolving consumer plays at CES.

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer explained why he sees the company’s Windows OS as the glue that binds the digital experience whether its on a PC, a TV or a smartphone. And Cisco CEO John Chambers added some meat to his company’s consumer strategy with a number of product offerings under its Linksys consumer brand.
