Cisco to Fast Track cash back to solution providers

Quebec City – Cisco Systems Canada (Nasdaq: CSCO) released today a new channel promotion called Fast Track 2 that offers solution providers five core networking products for the price of four. The promotion started May 2nd and will end July 29 of this year.

The Fast Track 2 promotion is available on many Cisco stackable switches, IP video surveillance cameras, wireless access points and IP phones.

How does it work? Solution providers order five of the same select product and you will be invoiced for only four.

One Cisco Canada executive at the TechSelect conference said that Fast Track 2 is intended to make it easy for solution providers to sell up front. There will be no deal registration necessary for Fast Track 2.

Also at this show, Cisco Canada pushed big discounts on small business communications systems. This promotion similar to Fast Track 2 will also conclude on July 29th.

In this promotion eligible Cisco channel partners when they sell into an SMB business can expect up to a maximum 55 per cent discount off list prices when selling products within the eligible product lines.These products include UC 540 and 560, 7900 Series IP phones, SPA 500 Series IP phones, ESW 500 switches, and Wireless cards/modules skus.

To qualify for this promotion your customer must have fewer than 250 employees and is not a Cisco named commercial, enterprise or a public sector account.

The promotion is open to all eligible Cisco UC specialized and Select Certified partners in Canada.

Cisco will also fund a zero per cent financing offer for 36 months on any products. This promo ends on June 30tha and is capped at $250,000.
