Compugen appoints new sales VP for Western and Central Canada

Compugen Inc. of Richmond Hill, Ont. – ranked as CDN’s Top Solution Provider for 2011 by revenue – has hired a new vice-president of sales for central and western region to replace Greg Lardner, who joined Microsoft Canada this summer as its new channel chief.

Replacing Lardner at Compugen is Brian MacIntosh. In a statement, Compugen lauded MacIntosh’s varied sales and management experience in enterprise and midmarket organizations, and considerable entrepreneurial experience. He ran Calgary-based management consulting firm Sunnylea Capital, and in 2006 he took an executive position with Telus Corp., which included responsibility for a managed services subsidiary, Syscom Consulting.

Earlier in his career he held a sales leadership role at IBM Corp., and co-founded Contour Telecom Management before it was acquired by AT&T. He has also taught management at the University of Calgary, and is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
