D&H celebrates five years in Canada with big promotion

When D&H Distributing entered the Canadian market back in 2007 the channel was, for the most part, unconvinced that another distributor would be able to succeed in a region that was dominated by the big three (Ingram, Tech Data and Synnex).

Five years later D&H is celebrating its Canadian success. D&H Canada general manager Greg Tobin and staff is offering significant promotions to mark the occasion and to thank its loyal base of reseller customers.

D&H Canada will also host a Fifth Anniversary Event at its headquarters in Mississauga on July 10.

The special promotions will start on July 9th and will feature many Grand Prizes from sponsor vendors such as Microsoft, NetGear, Sony, Brother and BenQ. Resellers can get in on the promotions by purchasing merchandise from these vendors during the designated sponsor periods. By doing so resellers will entered for a chance to win prizes such as one of two Xbox 360 gaming consoles; a ReadyNAS Pro 2, 2TB Unified Storage System; Party-shot Automatic Photographer Cradle; P-Touch PT-2100 Label Printer; and a BenQ 21.5-inch LED LCD monitor.

In addition to the prizes, more than 30 D&H Canada vendor partners will be offering special pricing for resellers throughout the promotional period which ends July 19th.

To qualify for the grand prizes from Microsoft resellers must purchase Microsoft product between July 9th to 13th. For the NetGear prizes, resellers must purchase product from July 10th to the 16th. Sony is offering more than one grand prize.

Resellers who purchase Sony product between July 11th to the 17th will automatically be entered to win one of 13 prizes. They include:

1.Five party-shot automatic photographer cradles.

2.Three Cyber-shot Digital Cameras W560.

3.Two Cyber-shot Digital Cameras TX9.

4. Cyber-shot Digital Camera H70.

5.Cyber-shot Digital Camera HX7V.

6.Bloggie camera kit.

As for Brother International, the printer manufacturer will award a P-Touch PT 2100 label printer or a QL 700 Direct Thermal label printer to resellers who purchase a minimum of five Brother P-Touch products between July 12th to the 18th. Finally the BenQ promotional period is from July 13th to the 19th.

D&H is expecting approximately 40 vendor partners and a group of first year reseller customers to the 5th year anniversary event.

Tobin said that this is a customer appreciation event to celebrate our success by virtue of the gracious support of our partners in the channel, who had faith that we could deliver the same effective consultative sales model that D&H has been famous for in the U.S.

Resellers interested in the promotions can order online or through their rep by calling toll-free 1-800-340-1008 or visiting www.dandh.ca.
