Tech Data Canada has announced it will now be offering Cisco’s Meraki cloud services.
Cisco Meraki is a cloud-managed networking platform that offers edge and branch networking solutions, including wireless, switching, security and mobile device management products.

Meanwhile, Synnex has reached an agreement with Dell for Canadian distribution.
It was well over a year in the making and the not the best kept secret, but officially Synnex Canada today became a Dell distribution partner.
Dell entered into significant North American distribution deals with Synnex rivals Ingram Micro and Tech Data in the summer of 2014. Initially Synnex was signed by Dell for U.S. distribution, but not Canadian.

Next, Avnet has introduced new partner training and a new enablement network in the U.S. and Canada. At its Partner Summit this week, the company unveiled what it’s calling the Avnet Knowledge Network, a private community that provides Avnet partners with educational resources and acts as a single source of solution and supplier sales information and training for partners.

Furthermore, it inked a deal with Boundary Devices Inc., a multinational supplier of ARM-based single board computers and system-on-modules for the embedded market. This expands Avnet’s portfolio to include embedded product hardware and software development for customers in military, aerospace, digital displays and more.
