Eurocom launches Scorpius

Ottawa-based Eurocom Corp. announced its new Scorpius ultra high performance all-in-one notebook.

The notebook support dual SLI and CrossfireX graphics technology from NVIDIA and AMD. The Intel Core i7 3920XM Extreme Edition Processor is prominantly features in Scorpius and it has up to 64GB of DDR3 1866MHz memory and RAID 0/1/5 with three storage drives plus one mSATA drive.

Mark Bialic, Eurocom President, said Scorpius is an out of this world high performance notebook computer. Just like the mythical creature that stung and killed Orion, the Scorpius will take down any competition standing in its way, while allowing gamers to do the same.

The Scorpius was designed for having a long lifespan and full upgradeability. Scorpius can be customized for multiple roles such as an NVIDIA powered Quadro Workstation, a supercharged Gaming notebook or as a professional graphics supercomputer.

The company said Scorpius will be made available on Sept. 10 of this year.
