Former McAfee Canada GM lands at another security company

MXI Security, a managed portable security developer, has appointment Jack Sebbag as vice president of sales for North America.

The former long time McAfee Canada GM will report to Julian Reusing, President of North America. Sebbag will oversee the North American sales division for the Santa Ana, Calif.-based company, but run it out of his home town of Montréal.

Reusing said he was thrilled to some of Sebbag’s experience on his executive team at such an important time in the company’s history. “Jack brings a proven ability to lead top performing teams, an excellent sales track-record and the skills necessary to strengthen our leadership position within the industry to help propel the company forward,” he said in a prepared statement.

Sebbag brings more than 22 years of high tech experience to his new position. In between, McAfee and MXI, Sebbag worked for Oracle as director of sales.

Sebbag said he is truly excited about joining MXI Security and looks forward to working with the leadership team to shape the company’s next phase of explosive growth.

MXI Security software targets Government and Enterprise customers. MXI has a line of Stealth products, which are secure portable storage devices. MXI’s OEM partners include McAfee, Sebbag’s former company and Imation.
