A study has revealed that Google’s AI has the highest IQ of all artificial intelligences, but that’s still less than a 6-year-old, LinkedIn is taking a page out of Snapchat’s book, and a U.S. senator demands that Wells Fargo CEO be fired amidst scandal.

From Reddit – An academic paper written by a trio of Chinese researchers determines that Google’s AI boasts the highest IQ with one of 47 – which is nearly double that of Siri’s IQ of 24. Chinese search engine Baidu, and Microsoft’s Bing hold the second and third place spots with IQ’s of 33 and 32 respectively, but none of these systems have a higher IQ than that of an average 6-year-old, which is 55, let alone the IQ of an 18-year-old at 97. However, the jump to an IQ of 47 is big for Google’s AI, which in 2014 led the pack with an IQ of 26. So while AI may not be smarter than a 6-year-old yet, it’s sure on its way.
From Twitter – Instagram and Facebook aren’t the only ones copying features from Snapchat. Linkedin has announced that it now supports Snapchat-style geofilters for events and conferences. This is part of the new in-app video creation feature that allows users to record and share videos directly on the Linkedin app. The company has stated that video content is shared 20 times as much as any other type of content on the platform, so don’t be surprised if this is the only feature Linkedin borrows from another platform.
And from Reddit once more – U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren demanded yesterday that Wells Fargo CEO Timothy Sloan be fired for the role he played in the company culture that pushed bank employees to create millions of fake accounts for customers without their consent in order to meet aggressive cross-selling goals. As many as 3.5 million accounts were involved, and during Sloan’s appearance before the Senate Banking Committee, the Massachusetts Democrat said, “At best you were incompetent, at worst you were complicit. Either way, you should be fired.”
