High end storage goes down market

Kano Technologies Corp. a vendor of direct-storage and network-attached storage products, is now offering the channel an enterprise-class network storage for small to mid-size businesses.

The company’s NetCOR NAS Enterprise Series is a new line of rack-mount appliances that use Dual-Core Intel processors and 3ware 9650SE RAID controllers to achieve enterprise-level performance, reliability and security.

NetCOR NAS appliances allow users to add up to 12TBs of protected data storage as their business. Then, if storage needs outgrow the NetCOR NAS unit, additional TBs of expansion storage can be attached through Kano’s iSCSI integration technology, the company said.

These products also offer password protection and supports data access controls at the user and volume level.
