How you can make Windows 7 more like Windows 8

If global adoption figures are to be believed, there hasn’t exactly been a stampede of users rushing to upgrade to Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system. That’s not to say the new OS doesn’t have its merits, however.

According to Chris Hoffman, Windows 8 does have some excellent desktop features. And if you’re not ready to take the upgrade plunge, he has some tips on how you can bring the best of Windows 8 to your Windows 7 desktop.

Of course, Microsoft would still much prefer it if you’d just upgrade to Windows 8.
