HP launches smallest LaserJet printers

Hewlett-Packard has strengthened its entry-level laser printer portfolio with the launch of its smallest and most compact laser printers – the HP LaserJet 1007 and the HP LaserJet 1008. The new LaserJet series aims to complement the growing need for greater flexibility, productivity and cost savings among SOHO/SMBs and is available at a price of Rs 6,699 (US$160) for 1007 and Rs 8,299 for 1008.

The LJ 1007 and LJ 1008 with HP’s new patented Spherical Toner, print speeds of up to 17 ppm and a compact form factor are designed to boost customer delight” said Ajay Rawal, Country Category Manager, Commercial Volume LaserJets, Imaging and Printing Group, Hewlett-Packard India Sales.

The HP LaserJet P1007/P1008 printer series is HP’s smallest and most compact laser spherical toner printing system for the home and small offices, and features a new, patented smaller toner cartridge. Designed to conserve resources as well as office space, the ultra-compact HP LaserJet P1007/P1008 printer ships with less packaging than previous products and is engineered to use less energy over an extended period of time. The HP LaserJet P1007/1008 printer is designed for exceptionally quiet operation and offers fast speeds and a quick first page out to enhance productivity.
