Ingram Micro announces new application development services program

IT distributor Ingram Micro Inc. has announced a new professional services program that offers custom application development.

Named the Ingram Micro “Preferred App Dev Network,” the program is meant to reduce the time and resources required from partners to integrate various technology solutions.

“Available now in North America, the Ingram Micro Preferred App Dev Network connects channel partners to vetted network providers with proven, high quality IT and solutions development, integration and migration capabilities across a variety of technologies, solutions and platforms including cloud, big data and mobility,” Ingram said in a statement.  “The new service allows channel partners to expand their services portfolio, generate new revenue streams and more easily identify and develop applications.”

In addition to app development, partners will also have access to vetted network providers enrolled as Ingram Micro Link Preferred Service Providers, established invoicing, and the “ability to explore new verticals through qualified application development services not currently part of the company portfolio,” the company said.
