Ingram Micro signs distribution agreement with ESET to offer security for Canadian partners

Ingram Micro is making sure its Canadian partners can choose from the most up to date security solutions available.

The tech distributor has announced an exclusive broadline distribution alliance with ESET, an IT security software company, which will provide its channel partners access to ESET’s full suite of business solutions.

The agreement will allow ESET to make available its wide range of products and services, including endpoint protection, data encryption, remote management and two-factor authentication.

David Mason, vice president of advanced solutions at Ingram Micro Canada, expressed his excitement to work with ESET and offer its full line of security solutions for business alongside Ingram’s professional and financial service offerings in an Apr. 5 press release.

“The demand for flexible and holistic security solutions is higher than ever and we are proud to add ESET to our portfolio, providing greater choice, performance and value to channel partners across Canada,” he adds.

In addition, ESET’s volume incentive program, flexibility in regards to terms and financing, and a facilitated process for securing quotes, processing renewals and placing orders, will also be available to Ingram Micro partners.

“ESET chose Ingram Micro as their exclusive Canadian distributor to provide our reseller partners with more options for purchases and a better overall experience,” Iva Peric-Lightfoot, country manager for ESET Canada. “We believe this relationship will give us access to a new, broader reseller base and be a key piece to achieving our business goals for 2017.”

ESET’s security solutions are used by companies worldwide and across various industry sectors, including healthcare, finance, education, technology, media and government organizations.
