Security specialty distributor Interwork Technologies Inc. has added iboss Cybersecurity’s network security and data protection platform to its list of offerings.
The iboss platform is a node-based, containerized cloud offering for cybersecurity and behavioural-based malware protection. Now available to Interwork’s network of channel partners, the offering is delivered 100 per cent through the cloud and uses nodes to isolate each organization’s data in its own containers to alleviate any concerns about regulatory or compliance.
According to iboss, the cloud service’s design enables security for any environment, no matter whether it’s a centralized company, a dispersed set of remote offices or mobile users. To break down potential security threats, iboss also provides the Cyber Threat Score, which assigns risk numbers to individual users and devices connected to a network. Using the score, channel partners and internal IT departments can better visualize their risks and take preventative actions to ensure corporate data, devices and users are secure.

Partners have a few options in how they sell the offering. The vendor hosts its own cloud version of it, but for customers that prefer greater control, iboss also offers the software for deployment on private or hosted clouds. For partners, it provides an opportunity to help customers ensure compliance with internal corporate policies and government regulations.
