Keating Technologies partners with green connectivity vendor

Irvine, Calif.-based Iogear will have a bigger presence in Canada now because of a newly formed partnership with Keating Technologies Inc. of Markham, Ont.

Keating will represent the Iogear product line in Canada which includes networking, mobility and other desktop solutions. Iogear’s flagship product is the KVMP (keyboard, video, mouse, peripheral). Earlier this year, Iogear launched a KVM for higher resolutions and integration to HDMI-compliant devices. Iogear’s products try to decrease office clutter and energy consumption, reduce electronic waste, enable computer sharing at home and in the office as well as enhance mobility, according to the company.

Recently, the company developed an environmental plan that emphasizes on conserving natural resources for employees and customers. This green initiative led Iogear to partner with Trees for the Future to plant one tree for every product purchased on its Web site or by members of its Green initiative partner program.

Nearly 60,000 trees have been planted through this partnership so far.

Doug Turner, director of sales North America for Iogear, said the place a premium on providing outstanding service to customers, and Keating’s integrated approach to sales, marketing and support makes it a perfect fit for the Iogear brand.

Larry Keating, president and CEO of Keating Technologies said that Iogear brings innovation and value to a great variety of product offerings. Its believe in green philosophy, Iogear has earned its reputation as an environmentally aware company.

Alex Nobile, vice president of sales and general manager for Keating added that the outstanding functionality and capability of Iogear products, combined with Keating’s relationships and knowledge of the Canadian retail and VAR landscape, will form the basis for dynamic growth opportunities in the consumer space, the SMB and with mobile professionals. IOGEAR’s products are distributed in Canada through Ingram Micro, Synnex, Tech Data and D&H.
