Major Quebec solution provider grows with key acquisition

One of CDN’s Top 100 Solution Providers of  2011 – Acceo Solutions – stands to move further up the list in the future with the completion this week of the acquisition of Les Systèmes Informatiques O.G.C. (OGC).

Formerly known as Groupe GFI Solutions Inc., Acceo Solutions is a Montreal-based solution provider specializing in business an accounting solutions. OSG, its new acquisition, is also Monteal-based and provides custom software solutions to meet the specific needs of hardware retailers, renovation centres and gardening centres. The deal will see the complete OGC-Plus integrated management software suite, which boasts over 5500 users in Canada, added to the Acceo Solutions product lineup.

“We are extremely proud to be adding OGC’s solutions to our range of hardware store and building material centre products,” said Gilles Létourneau, president and CEO of Acceo Solutions, in a statement. “Not only does this transaction allow us to expand our product portfolio, but it also solidifies our position as a major player in the industry, allowing our company to grow even more.”

OGC serves nearly 300 clients in Quebec and the rest of Canada, and has been in business for 25 years. It currently has 30 employees.
