Microsoft chooses Toronto-based developer as IoT partner

A Greater Toronto Area-based company has become the latest to be added to Microsoft’s Red Carpet Program.

TechBlocks, based in Vaughan, ON, has been picked by the software giant to help it grow its IoT practice on Microsoft Azure.

The program runs worldwide and selects specific partners in various countries to accelerate cloud and mobility solution development.

“We are ecstatic to be approached by Microsoft to participate in this program,” Prashant Kumar, senior vice president of strategy and solutions of TechBlocks said in a statement. However, he didn’t elaborate on which specific solutions the company would be developing on Azure.

According to the company, besides IoT, it focuses on CRM, e-commerce, mobile, cloud and more.
