The system integrates wired, wireless and mobile devices to create a secure solution for the entire organization, regardless of a worker’s location. The solution helps enable businesses of all sizes to experience responsive and secure communications, anytime and anywhere, regardless of the device used.
Cisco Unified Communications system 6.0 is built on open industry standards so organizations can mix and match their communications technologies to meet their business needs. It integrates with existing business desktop tools for plug-and play functionality that simplifies deployment, lowers training costs and reduces capital and operating expenses.
Organizations deploying Cisco Unified Communications system 6.0 will also benefit from a global network of Cisco partners that specialize in unified communications, the company said.
