Nvidia starts selling its own graphics cards

It looks like nVidia is getting into the retail game, and is planning to manufacture and sell graphics cards under its own name, according to HardOCP. Confused? Let me explain.

nVidia typically produces graphics chips sold as part of products from Asus, PNY, and EVGA, among others. nVidia seemed to be a little taken aback by the HardOCP report, so it looks like Best Buy may have jumped the gun a bit. Apparently the new nVidia-branded graphics cards were set to launch on October 10, but Best Buy let them slip out a little early.

HardOCP has photos of the packaging and the full details.
