One on one with IBM’s new global channel chief

NEW ORLEANS — Less than six weeks into his new role as general manager of global business partners for IBM Corp. (NYSE: IBM), the vendor’s former CIO Mark Hennessy took centre stage at its annual PartnerWorld Leadership Conference this week.

Hennessy sat down with CDN to discuss his priorities and where he’ll be working with channel partners to encourage investment and focus in the months to come, with the goal of enabling partners to tackle the opportunities Big Blue sees in areas such as cloud computing, analytics and big data.
