One on one with the new president of OnX Enterprise Solutions

How big a presence was former OnX Enterprise Solutions president and CEO Ed Vos in the Canadian channel? So big that it’s taking two men to fill his shoes.

After helping to build OnX into one of the top solution providers in Canada, Vos left the company in July to pursue other opportunities. Tapped to fill his role as CEO in July was Mike Cox, who came to OnX last year to run the company’s U.S. business centred around Agilsys, which OnX acquired as a base on which to grow its U.S. business. Cox is remaining based in the U.S. as CEO, with regular visits to Canada and the company’s Thornhill, Ont. headquarters.

Rounding-out the executive team is Paul Khawaja, who was hired this month as the president of OnX Canada. It’s a promotion for Khawaja, who joined OnX last summer as executive vice-president for OnX following a long career with solution provider Xwave, and positions with Softchoice and MITI Information Technology.

Nestor Arellano of IT World Canada recently spoke with Khawaja about OnX’s plans for the Canadian market: OnX to focus on solutions business
