Ontario distributor Lenbrook to bring rugged Cat phones to Canada

A global distributor from Ontario recently became Canada’s exclusive distributor of the Rugged Caterpillar (Cat) smartphones.

Lenbrook Canada Solutions announced the new partnership with Bullitt Group, the global licensee for the heavy-duty phones, at the tail-end of last month. Lenbrook is going to sell the Cat31, S41 and S61 models, all of which are drop proof, waterproof, dust and shock proof, and boast long-lasting batteries. It is worth noting that these phones are also available on Amazon.

The Cat S61 also includes an integrated thermal imaging camera, an indoor air quality monitor and laser assisted distance measure. The rugged smartphones and Lenbrook’s existing portfolio of communication products are a match made in heaven, according to Ted Wiles, vice-president and general manager of Lenbrook Canada Solutions.

“[The Cat phones] provides us with a rugged communications solution that we can offer to customers that are looking for longer battery life, thermal imaging technology or on the job tools such as laser measure, all built into a brand name that is world famous for durability and quality,” he said.

On Amazon, the S31 costs $389, while the S41 costs $555. The higher tier S61 has a price tag of $1,126 (All prices are in CAD).
