Oracle goes with AnyChart

Sibental Inc. announced a licensing agreement with Oracle to incorporate Sibental’s DBA AnyChart technology within Oracle Application Express.

As a result, the AnyChart Flash Chart Component enables Oracle Application Express Release 3.0 developers to include Flash Charts in their applications. Sibental is a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork.

Oracle Application Express is a free, Web-based application development tool that enables users to build, deploy and manage secure Web applications using only a Web browser. Oracle Application Express is integrated with all editions of Oracle Database 10g and Oracle9i Database Release 2. With the integration of AnyChart, Oracle Application Express Release 3.0 now supports 18 types of Flash charts. There is also a utility that converts existing SVG Charts to Flash Charts.

The use of AnyChart allows Oracle Application Express Release 3.0 developers to offer their customers real-time flash charts without the need to edit Flash source, the company said.
