One will notice a lot of enterprise and large public sector customers listed on Titus’ website, but the Ottawa-based data security firm wants to change that with its latest hire.
Mike Kuehn is joining the leadership team at Titus as its new chief revenue officer, and Titus is betting on his past experience to help the organization get its solutions into the hands of business of all sizes. Kuehn has held senior executive positions related to channel with Actifio, a enterprise Data-as-a-Service software provider, and Synscort, another prominent player in the data management and protection software space.
Jim Barkdoll, CEO of Titus, said Kuehn will be integral to the company’s growth moving forward.
“As a senior executive with both companies, Mike demonstrated success in selling to businesses of all sizes, including Fortune 500 companies, as well as channel partners, resellers, systems integrators and managed service providers,” he said. “TITUS’ goal is to become the undisputed leader in the data protection space. To achieve that, it’s imperative we create a strong partner ecosystem as we grow to meet our corporate objectives.”
Keuhn suggested it’s clear Titus is providing a unique solution to customers based on the interest from brand name companies including Google, McAfee, Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks and more.

Titus says it plans expand its global presence this year, and currently has more than 1,000 enterprise customers worldwide.
Last summer, Titus announced the release of Data Classification for G Suite, letting users to classify information while working across Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Calendar. A few months later in November, it announced machine learning capabilities to its Titus Classification Suite for Windows and Titus Illuminate solutions.
