“I’d like to be able to assign and reassign email addresses to various account names. I’d like to be able change account names. I’d like to be able to consolidate accounts, so if I have three of a similar account, I can combine them into one. In short, I’d like to have comprehensive account management for my Google accounts.”

reports on the new CIO’s plans and challenges.

“But VanRoekel, like Kundra, will have to fight cuts to the e-government budget. Kundra told Ars that the administration has been ‘working very closely with Congress’ to make sure that the administration’s e-government initiatives are adequately funded. But with Congress exerting continued pressure for budget cuts, there will be an emphasis on doing more with less.”
