SAP Business One comes to Amazon Web Services

Enterprise software maker SAP AG announced today  that SAP Business One, powered by SAP HANA, will be available on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

The pay-as-you go, subscription-based application will run on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) instances, and will come at no additional cost to existing customers who own SAP software licenses.

“Today’s announcement provides small and midsize enterprise (SME) customers the flexibility to rapidly deploy SAP solutions on the scalable, on-demand AWS Cloud without the need for making long-term commitments or costly capital expenditures for underlying infrastructure,” said the company’s official press release.

The SAP applications can also be run by authorized Business One resellers on AWS.

The business management software was designed for small businesses to automate key business functions in the areas of finance, operations, and human resources.
