SAP promotes North American channel boss to global role

After leading the business software vendor’s channel and small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) efforts in North America, SAP AG (NYSE: SAP) is promoting Kevin Gilroy to a global position.

Gilroy will now lead global indirect channels and report directly to Eric Duffaut, president of global ecosystem and channels. In a statement, SAP said Gilroy will be tasked with “accelerating global indirect revenue through key SAP partners and developing new business opportunities by extending both the SAP channel partner ecosystem and alternate channels.”

Prior to joining SAP in January, 2010, and also served as president and CEO of OnForce, an online marketplace for buyers and sellers of IT services. He also held several senior positions with Hewlett-Packard Co.

Replacing Gilroy as North American channel lead will be John Graham, an SAP veteran since 2008 who also held positions with Siebel Systems and Oracle Corp.
