Software company SAS Canada has hired Andrew Dixon as the new vice president of marketing for Canada and Latin America.
Prior to joining SAS Canada, Dixon was senior vice president of marketing and operations for five years at Kitchener, Ont.-based Igloo Software, an intranet service provider.
This was preceded by more than two decades of marketing experience at Microsoft Canada, where Dixon moved up to chief marketing officer.
At SAS, Dixon will be charged with building demand in areas of cloud, big data and IoT.
SAS Canada is headquartered in Toronto. It has more than 300 employees across offices in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City and Montréal.
