Adobe’s revenue is up, but struggling to make a market out of mobile

Randy Muller raises an important question when it comes to renewing industry-related certifications.

“I believe there is validity in this concept of having to recertify or earn continuing education credits. Ours is a field that changes constantly. New technologies are released or new versions of current technologies. There are always new updates and service packs that are released. In other words, the IT field is always changing and we have to keep up with these changes or we risk falling behind the technology power curve.”

Ex-CEO of Broadcom pleads not guilty to 25 charges

Greg Risling recounts the latest in Henry T. Nicholas III, the former CEO at Broadcom Inc.’s case where he’s accused of improper accounting for stock-option backdating, putting drugs into drinks of employees and maintaining a drug warehouse.

“Co-founder Henry T. Nicholas III of Broadcom Inc. pleaded not guilty Monday to federal drug and securities fraud charges alleging wrongdoing inside and outside the microprocessor company. A trial date was set for July 29. Nicholas remains free on a $3.3 million bond. Nicholas faces a maximum combined sentence of 20 years for the drug charges and up to 340 years in prison for the stock backdating counts.”
