Sourced Group achieves AWS migration competency

Global IT consulting firm Sourced Group today announced that it’s attained the Amazon Web Services (AWS) migration competency.

Sourced, already an AWS advanced consulting partner specializing in large-scale cloud transformations, shared the news Nov. 7, noting how they’ve deployed AWS solutions since 2010 through “all phases of complex migration projects” such as planning, discovery, migration, and operations.

AWS’ Migration Competency Program requires partners to undergo an audit and validation process, including both business and technical reviews. The competency program – there are 10 solutions that partners can achieve AWS competency status with – also offers several partner benefits, including increased discounts through the AWS Solution Provider Program, direct and prioritized access to AWS Partner Network reference teams and preferred partner recommendations.

“As a trusted advisor, we focus on delivering the highest quality of service and real business outcomes to our global clients on a daily basis,” said Jonathan Spinks, CEO of Sourced Group in a statement. “We’re delighted to be recognised by AWS with the Migration Competency designation, and we look forward to working with new and existing clients as they increasingly adopt cloud at scale.”

The news comes on the heels of Sourced Group winning Palo Alto Networks’ Asia Pacific Cloud Partner of the Year award for 2018.
