Tech Data Canada has extended an exclusive arrangement with JAMF Software of Minneapolis, Minn. to make its flagship product – the Casper Suite.
Casper is a unified and extensible framework for Mac OS X and iOS client management.
The Casper Suite enables administrators to manage inventory, imaging, patch management, software distribution, remote control, security, licensing and usage for the Mac OS X client lifecycle in a single console. The Casper Suite also allows administrators to control inventory, configuration, security, and eBook and app distribution for iOS mobile device management (MDM), coupled with a unique self-service interface.

The product, currently in Version 9.0, will be made available to Tech Data Canada’s entire network of solution providers.
According to Tech Data Canada, the Casper Suite enables resellers to meet the growing demand for the best solution to manage their growing fleets of Apple devices. With more large-scale deployments of Apple devices, and consumers bringing their own devices (BYOD) into corporate and educational environments, the Casper Suite provides resellers with a collection of client management applications for Mac OS X computers and iOS mobile devices. The Casper Suite is the only client management solution developed exclusively for the Apple platform.
