Distributor Tech Data (NASDAQ: TECD) has launched its mobile app here, following a release in the U.S. last fall.
The accessTV app for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad includes functionality from the company’s Web site, such as access to product searches, pricing and availability information, order tracking and inventory.

Partners use their existing login and password information from the Tech Data Web site for the mobile app.
Resellers can add items to a quote and e-mail it to their customers with their own branding. The app also has a checkout process to allow solution providers to fill orders from their mobile device.
The app launched in the U.S. in November 2011, where it saw tremendous success, according to the company.
