These are the kinds of technologies that resellers should be leading with when looking to extend their growth in the small- medium enterprise space, said Greg Myers, vice-president of marketing at Tech Data Canada.
Based on the feedback received from both the vendor and reseller community, Tech Data hopes to make this an annual event.
The nine vendors signed on for this year’s Tech Data SMB University include McAfee, SonicWALL and Symantec for security, HP, IBM and Microsoft for storage and server and HP, Nortel and Raritan for networking.
Myers said each of the three venues sold out quickly as “there is a demand for high quality training and support.”
