The former Diskeeper offers a software guarantee

Condusiv Technologies, formerly Diskeeper Corp., announced its limited-time software guarantee program that promises customers a minimum of 25 per cent faster applications on their Virtual Machines (VMs) for all VMware ESX/ESXi andMicrosoft platforms in customer production environments, or the software is free.

Condusiv CEO Jerry Baldwin said the company is “putting our money where our mouth is”. V-locity 4 customers are seeing application performance boosts up to 50 per cent or more on their Hyper-V and VMware virtual platforms. Condusiv will guarantee a minimum of 25 per cent improvement to production networks or the software is free. V-locity 4 performs I/O optimization at the source improving bandwidth to the VM and reducing latency without additional CAPEX hardware cost.

Baldwin added that big data, cloud services and new applications are consuming more and more storage and CPU’s. Windows users are generating unnecessary I/O’s resulting in I/O bottlenecks that are stealing storage bandwidth and increasing latency. V-locity 4 is application agnostic, so anything running on that virtual machine will see dramatic performance improvement.

Recently Condusiv, which is the company that hired Nick Tidd after he left D-Link, inked a deal with Ingram Micro. The distributor plans to to bring V-locity 4 to market and share Condusiv’ new partner incentives with channel partners in the U.S., said Jodi Honore, vice president, Vendor Management, Ingram Micro U.S. No word yet on Canadian plans.

Honore added that application performance is a hot topic and a key measure of success for channel partners. The potential performance gains V-locity 4 brings to the table, combined with Condusiv’s new channel partner program and the business enablement resources offered by Ingram Micro make for a compelling value proposition that’s hard to ignore.

By optimizing reads and writes, V-locity 4 improves VM performance up to 50 per cent or more, eliminating application bottlenecks and enabling more VMs on a single, physical server. Server virtualization can maximize IT investment. However, because VMs share server and storage resources, the only way to get the full value of virtualization and protect CAPEX investment is by reducing I/O response time while increasing bandwidth to the VM without adding additional hardware.

V-locity 4 VM accelerator comes with its own internal benchmarking tool that reports a “before” and “after” comparison I/Os per second, I/O response time, workload and more. OpenBench Labs independently validated the accuracy of V-locity 4’s embedded benchmarking tool via Iometer testing. The full report on OpenBench Labs testing with V-locity 4 can be found at Condusiv’s Web site.

If the 25 per cent performance guarantee is NOT met, a full refund will be issued directly from Condusiv Technologies (even if purchased from a reseller) and all V-locity 4 licenses stipulated in the Purchase Order will be issued for FREE. This creates a significant opportunity for channel partners to position a thought leading performance-optimizing software product, and to guarantee their customers dramatic results – or their money back. Best of all, there is no risk to the channel partner.
