The Source brings vending machines to Toronto Pearson

The Source this week announced it has partnered with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) to install a total of seven electronics vending machines throughout Toronto Pearson Airport, in addition to a staffed kiosk that opened earlier in December.

The vending machines are set to open through February and March 2015, and will provide passengers access to over 100 consumer electronics products including headphones, audio devices and travel accessories from brands such as Beats, Bose, Samsung and Sony, according to an official Source statement.

“At Toronto Pearson, we’re listening to what our passengers want and are delighted to build our partnership with The Source,” said Scott Collier, vice president of customer and terminal services at GTAA in the statement. “The Source is a highly regarded Canadian brand and an industry-leading electronics retailer with a reputation for convenience and service.”

The machines are designed and manufactured by Mississauga Ont.-based Signifi Solutions and will will join similar machines from Best Buy which have operated in Pearson since 2012.
