Toronto systems integrator acquires Orbitrix

Navantis, a Toronto-based systems integrator and solution provider, announced its acquisition of Orbitrix, a customer relationship management (CRM) developer, yesterday.

The acquisition of Orbitrix is expected to further grow Navantis’ Microsoft CRM practice. Orbitrix is a Microsoft Gold-certified CRM partner.

Kevin Oakes, senior vice-president of Navantis’ CRM practice, said with the addition of Orbitrix and its Peopleworks suite of association management software, new opportunities will open up for the company.

“The success of the Navantis CRM practice is based on our ability to implement solutions that fit the unique needs of customers across multiple industries,” Oakes said. “Peopleworks is a great fit for our Association and Not for Profit customers; however, it also provides a base of functionality that can be configured to fit customers in our other core vertical markets: healthcare, energy, and public sector.”

As part of the acquisition agreement, Orbitrix’s employees will be retained by Navantis and the companies will operate under the Navantis name moving forward.
