Toronto-based Empowered Networks is beefing up its solutions and service offerings by partnering with IP/Ethernet testing services company, Ixia of California.
With the partnership, Empowered Network becomes an Ixia Elite Channel Partner in Canada and will be able to offer Ixia’s complete portfolio of network visibility and security and network testing solutions.
Empowered Networks specializes systems integration. It provides hardware and software support for some of Canada’s most successful organizations in the telecom, education, government, financial services and education spaces. The company also has offices in Moncton, Montreal, Ottawa, Waterloo, Calgary and Vancouver.

Ixia has more than 1,400 employees worldwide. The company primarily provides test systems and service verification platforms for wireless and wired infrastructures and services.
As part of Ixia’s Channel Xcelerate program Empowered will enable its customers to test, assess and monitor their networks with the:
- Network Visibility Architecture that includes network access solutions, network packet brokers, application and session visibility solutions and an integrated management platform
- Security Test solutions that allow organizations to assess network security performance and resiliency by testing and validating network and security devices with real-world application traffic and attacks
- Wireless and Wireline Network Test solutions and services that deliver the high scale and realism needed to test and validate the scale and performance of networks, devices and services
