Kitchener, Ont. — Electrohome Limited sold its 292,000 square foot facility in Kitchener, Ontario last month to its previously largest tenant, Christie Digital Systems Inc. for $5.5 million, before taxes.
Proceeds from the sale were used to pay associated costs and to repay $6.4 million worth
of mortgages — $3.5 million of which went to John A. Pollock, chairman and CEO and to other members of his family.
ScriptLogic, AltTech form partnership
Boca Raton, Fla. — ScriptLogic Corp. inked a deal with VAR Alternative Technology, AltTech, confirming the software developer’s increased commitment to growing its reseller channel.
The partnership allows AltTech to distribute ScriptLogic’s Desktop Authority and ScriptLogic Enterprise products.
Xerox to use Tecsys software
Montreal — Tecsys Inc., a SCM software provider, formed a partnership with Xerox Canada to implement its EliteSeries Enterprise Transportation Management System (TMS).
With TMS, Xerox is able to handle cross-docking shipments more efficiently and to manage over 600,000 shipments per year.
