Video: Channel Elite Awards showcase IT excellence

Toronto – Conamex International of Montreal took home the Solution Provider of the Year award at the CDN Channel Elite Awards at the Paramount Conference and Event Venue.

But there were plenty of other winners too.

A crowd of more than 300 attendees saw Softchoice win in two categories. Softchoice took home two gold awards; one in Best Channel Marketing Initiative and the other for the first-ever gold award for Best Green Solution.

Other multiple winners include: IT Weapons who won three silver awards in Service, Managed Services and Best Enterprise Solution. EPIC Information Solutions of Winnipeg won two awards in Best Collaborative Solution and Best Mid Market Solution. The Createch Group also won two awards in Best Enterprise Solution and Best Small Business Solution.

Nitro Microsystems won the Best Service Organization gold award. Best Mid Market Solution went to FortSum Business Solutions. ThinDesk of Markham, Ont. won in the Best Small Business Solution category. Montreal-based HumanIT Inc. won for Best Enterprise Solution.

Best Managed Services gold award went to Laser Networks. Q Data with its U.S. partner Lucas, won the Best Collaborative Solution.

Jolera also won a silver award in the Best Mid Market Solution category. Metafore won a bronze award in the Best Service Organization category. FlexITy won a bronze award in Best Managed Services. End-to-End Networks Inc. won a bronze award in Best Collaborative Solution. Last year’s Solution Provider of Year Longview Systems won a silver award for Best Channel Marketing Initiative. The bronze award for Best Channel Marketing Initiative went to Voda Computer Systems Group. And, Envision IT won a silver in Best Green Solution, while Compugen won the bronze in that category.
