Video: Citrix’s chief security strategist warns of risks in the data centre

Citrix Systems held its annual Summit partner conference in San Francisco last month, where the company outlined four partner objectives for the year.

Mark Templeton, president and CEO of Citrix, discussed the increased popularity of more employees and organizations choosing to work in places outside of the office, therefore opening up opportunities in virtualization and software-as-a-service spaces.

With ultra-portable devices and Internet access, in addition to employees carrying data around outside of the workplace, there are of course, security risks and threats.

CDN had the chance to speak with Kurt Roemer, Citrix’s chief security strategist, where he discussed some of the dangers associated with virtualization and the data centre and also, where he thinks partners can find the most opportunities in the cloud.

Below is a video capturing the interview.
