ViewSonic announces new line of 4K monitors

ViewSonic today introduced a new line of Ultra HD monitors for professional and personal use.

The Brea, CA-based hardware vendor announced the VP2780-4K, VG2860mhl-4K and VX2475Smhl-4K, each featuring a 3840×2160 resolution.

VP2780-4K, dubbed a flagship UHD Professional Monitor features a 27-inches display.  In addition, it also has 1.07 billion colours, wide-angle viewing, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort, dual Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL), and 4-port USB 3.0 connectivity. The VP2780-4K retails for $1,091.

Next, the “Business” option, the VG2860mhl-4K, is a 28-inch LED monitor.  In terms of connectivity, it offers DisplayPort 1.2a, Mini DisplayPort, HDMI 1.4, MHL and DVI inputs, and 4 USB ports.  With ViewSonic’s MultiPicture feature, it is capable of simultaneous viewing of up to four split windows.

It retails for $885.

Lastly, the VX2475Smhl-4K, the line’s multimedia and gaming option comes in at 24 inches wide-angle viewing and 4ms response time, DisplayPort 1.2a and MHL for flexible viewing of high-definition content while HDMI2.0 supports Ultra HD content at 60Hz.  It will be available in May for $611.
